Effective 2 October 2026 for new orders. Keep a copy with your order. Existing signed agreements remain subject to the terms agreed for that agreement.
1. Who we are
Equipro Equestrian Limited, company number 10865053, registered in England and Wales. Our address is 2 Kelvinside, Wallasey, Wirral, CH44 7JY. Contact us at info@equipro.org.uk, on 07789 940 822 or through our contact form.
2. Your order
Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery details. Check the product, application, quantity, price and delivery arrangements before paying. Calculator quantities and coverage are estimates; review them against your base, existing footing and riding use.
An online payment receipt or automatic acknowledgement confirms receipt of your submission or payment. It does not itself confirm a delivery date. An online contract is accepted when we dispatch the goods or send written confirmation of dispatch, whichever comes first. For orders placed by other means, acceptance occurs through our written acknowledgement, delivery or commencement of the agreed service. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund payment for goods or services we cannot supply.
3. Riding Chip and its appearance
Riding Chip is processed carpet tile material supplied in bulk bags. Bag weights and coverage are approximate unless your order specifies otherwise. It is suitable for all equestrian disciplines and can be used as a topper or a complete riding surface.
Chips are predominantly dark in colour. Shades and colours may vary depending on the exact tile blend. Photographs and samples help you inspect the material; they do not promise an identical colour blend for every supply. These statements do not remove your rights to goods matching their description or an agreed sample.
Inspect the delivered material before spreading or mixing it and contact us about damage, contamination or a discrepancy. Base preparation, depth, drainage, installation, upkeep and riding decisions affect the finished arena. No riding surface guarantees against injury. Follow the installation and maintenance guidance.
4. Price and payment
Public Riding Chip prices include VAT, with the ex-VAT amount also shown where useful. Standard delivery is calculated separately and included in the calculator’s delivered total. Check the total before payment. Any alternative haulage, offloading or installation service must be agreed and priced before ordering. We do not add a consumer card payment surcharge.
Payment is due as stated on the order or invoice. Unless a separate credit or payment agreement has been accepted, payment is required in full. Ownership of goods remains with Equipro until the amount due for them has been paid. A payment plan, lease or guarantee requires its own agreed documentation; submitting an enquiry does not approve finance or create a payment arrangement.
5. Delivery access and offloading
Standard Riding Chip delivery is by a 44 tonne articulated truck. Unless otherwise agreed with Equipro before ordering, the customer is responsible for offloading.
Provide a safe, suitable route and hardstanding for the vehicle, including room to manoeuvre and stop for unloading. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates, overhead restrictions, soft ground, gradients or restricted turning space before ordering. If the route is uncertain, discuss it with Equipro before purchase.
Arrange suitable lifting machinery, an appropriate attachment and a competent operator. Equipment must be suitable for the actual bag weight, lifting height and reach required from the trailer. Keep people and horses clear of machinery and suspended loads. For best installation results, use an excavator to distribute the chips evenly.
Alternative vehicle or supplier offloading arrangements apply only when agreed in advance. If delivery fails because agreed access or customer offloading is unavailable, reasonable additional haulage, waiting, storage or redelivery costs may apply. We will explain the cause and costs; nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Requested delivery dates are requests. We will confirm arrangements with you. For consumer orders, delivery will take place within 30 days unless another period has been agreed. Tell us promptly about delivery damage or missing goods; a failure to report at the roadside does not remove your statutory rights.
6. Consumer cancellation and returns
If you buy standard goods online, by mail or telephone as a consumer, you may cancel without giving a reason up to 14 days after receipt, then return them within a further 14 days. Notify us clearly by email, contact form or post. We refund the goods and standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the return or evidence of return. Extra delivery upgrades are not refunded. A lawful deduction may apply for handling beyond what is needed to inspect the goods. Statutory exceptions can apply to genuinely personalised goods.
Bulk bags require suitable haulage for return. Contact us to arrange the practical details before moving the material. Return charges apply only where they were disclosed before purchase as required by law. Faulty or incorrectly described goods have separate statutory remedies. Sale items retain consumer rights. These terms do not restrict those rights.

7. Faults and complaints
Contact us with the order reference, a description of the issue and photographs where useful. We will investigate and explain the next steps. Consumer statutory remedies apply where goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for their agreed purpose. Any additional written warranty is separate and does not replace statutory rights.
8. Business orders
For a customer purchasing in the course of a business, cancellation of an accepted order is subject to agreement. Reasonable work and expenses already incurred may be chargeable. Notify us promptly of any supply discrepancy and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate. Where a credit account is agreed, its payment terms apply; statutory late-payment interest and recovery costs may apply to overdue commercial debts.
Until goods have been paid for, business customers must keep them identifiable, in satisfactory condition and insured for their value. Business customers are responsible for lawful collection, treatment, recovery and disposal of waste arising from their use of the goods.
For business orders, subject to the exclusions below and any separate signed agreement, Equipro’s total liability connected with an order is limited to 125% of the price payable for the goods or services for the relevant event or connected events. We do not accept business liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or wasted management time, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Liability and circumstances outside our control
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or negligence as required by law.
We will contact you if events outside our reasonable control affect supply and explain available arrangements. Such events do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
10. Groundwork and environmental handling
Groundwork, drainage, installation and other services apply only when included in the agreed specification and price. Do not burn or dump Riding Chip. Ask Equipro and a suitable licensed contractor about appropriate removal and handling for the material and your location. The applicable requirements depend on the material and activity; no blanket environmental exemption is promised.
11. Privacy, changes and law
We use customer information as explained in the privacy notice. These terms govern new orders from the effective date; later website changes do not retrospectively alter an agreed order. English law applies, without removing mandatory protections or court rights available to consumers where they live.
